New research by the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed (IPSE) has found that 45% self-employed respondents fear they will not have enough money to cover basic costs like rent and bills during the Covid-19 crisis, despite the government support on offer.

Sixty-six percent add they are worried they will use all their savings in the next three months, while 69% say that the demand for their work has dropped and 53% say it has decreased substantially.
