Are you ready to step in at short notice?

There is light at the end of the tunnel, it’s just a case of when!
With most events postponed or cancelled throughout April, May and June its easy to feel the outlook is bleak. However as soon as this current lock-down is lifted, will organisers be looking to bring the events back to life in a short time frame?

I believe this will happen but what will that entail:

  • A new venue location?
  • New Suppliers to move in at short notice to get the event off the ground?
  • Ticketing and Registration at short notice?
  • How are you & are you geared up for this scenario?
  • How are you communicating your story during this time?

Tell us/me how you’re currently preparing for the eventual lift! Tell us how you’re communicating with potential new clients. But most importantly tell us how we could be doing more to help you through this.

I look forward to speaking with you.

Best Wishes

Hi James,

Great question! I think it’s easy to lose sight of the light at the end of the tunnel at the moment but at ODEON Events, we’re keeping the momentum up and giving our clients something to look forward to.

We’re expecting to see a spike in demand for our conferencing facilities in Q3 / Q4 so we’re ensuring that all of the bookings that we have in place are solidified and all loose ends are tied up, buying us the time that we’re going to need when things pick up.

We’re also working on our pricing at the moment to help organisations to find the most affordable venue options. We believe this is a time where new clients will be budget sensitive but still have a need to communicate with their employees. We’re all in this together and all working towards the same thing.

It’s not an easy time, to say the least, but there are exciting times ahead and this won’t last forever!

Hi Shannon,

Great to hear form you, it sounds like Qs 3&4 will be keeping you busy.
I am sure that you like many venues have felt the pinch of cancellations over the next few months.

Once the lock down is lifted can you see a scramble for venue space to re-launch conferences and meetings that were originally postponed/cancelled?
